Well it's been a wild and wet day! BBC weather site said Aysgarth would be blazing sun - doh. Still good to be with the family and a lunch of bacon roll with melted Wenslydale cheese (umm Grommit) was well worth the effort. The weather was wild last night as Wharfedale beat Newcastle Falcons 22-12. Johnny W was there - Pippin's Tiger said he was more good looking than ever (the word "gorgeous" was used on more than one occasion). The usual cry for supporters is 'in the river' as Wharfedale's bisonic pack heave the opposition towards the try-line. Last evening the river was coming to join the game as the heavens opened. I wonder what the BBC weatherman forecasts for the next test - let's hope it's blazing sun.
New Year is approaching and I know I won't be here again before 2007 - maybe this coming year I'll get 'it' right (or a bit nearer the stumps - possibly somewhere on the square!).
